"FLYING COLOR"
Put some glucose in the flask and add a few crystals of sodium hydroxide. Add some water and shake the solution vigorously. On adding a few drops of methylene blue the solution will turn sky blue. On shaking the mixture will absorb oxygen and become dark blue. On keeping the flask still for a while the mixture will consume the oxygen and become colorless. You can repeat this a few times.
